Sparkles Solar exists to do good work, treat people well, and leave things cleaner than we found them — panels included.
That's not just a line — it's what each of our values actually means for the person hiring us to wash their array.
This work means something to us beyond the invoice, so it gets treated that way on every site.
We don't cut corners on your array. "Good enough" isn't the bar we work to.
Whether you're watching the crew or not, the job gets done the same way.
Environmentally friendly products — because the work shouldn't cost the environment it's meant to help.
We listen, we stay in your corner, and we build the relationship past the first wash.
These aren't a poster on the wall. They're how we decide what jobs to take, how we treat the people we work with, and how we build the company itself.
We are a vehicle for something greater. The business isn't the point — it's the vehicle. Every contract, every crew, every wash is in service of something bigger than the balance sheet.
We go above and beyond the standard. "Good enough" isn't a standard we work to. If the job can be done better, we do it better — even when no one would notice if we didn't.
We seek direction from God in business and relationships. We try to make decisions we can stand behind, not just ones that are easiest or most profitable in the moment.
We use environmentally friendly products. The work we do exists to help clean energy run better — it shouldn't come at the cost of the environment it's meant to serve.
We provide an atmosphere where people are heard, safe, and valued. That's true for our crews, and it's true for the O&M partners we work alongside — everyone gets treated like a partner, not a line item.
"We serve God and serve others by providing a high-quality service experience through honest relationships."
Chris Attkisson spent over a decade as a farrier, working alongside horses and veterinarians, before an injury forced a change in direction. That search led him to SoftWash Systems and to founding what became Sparkles SoftWash — drawn less by the equipment than by their commitment to being good stewards of the earth and running the business the right way.
That standard hasn't moved since. On one job, Chris came back weeks later, unprompted, because he'd noticed a few spots that hadn't come clean — and scheduled the warranty visit before the customer even had to ask. That's the standard the company runs on: guided by faith, rooted in the DFW community, and built around treating every property like it's his own.
Sparkles Solar carries that same standard into commercial and industrial work — the equipment and the customers are different, but the way the job gets done isn't.
Joe Browning leads the build-out of Sparkles Solar's commercial solar division, bringing the company into the Mid-Atlantic and expanding its reach into new territory.
That work draws on a career spent close to solar operations. Most recently, Joe served as Director of Service Operations at a solar company in Austin, Texas, where he grew annual revenue by 250% while managing $1.6 million in yearly operations — experience that put him directly inside the industry's vendor relationships, O&M partnerships, and day-to-day realities long before this division existed.
Before that, his path ran through supply chain management, production management, and hands-on technical and repair work — building a background in vendor relations and contract negotiation, B2B and B2C sales, process optimization, and team leadership along the way. He holds an Associate of Science in Computer Network Engineering, with coursework in information security.
Problem solving is the thread through all of it — and it's the same instinct behind this division: find the gap in how commercial solar gets maintained, and build the crew and equipment to close it properly.
